It’s been over 3 weeks since Rockford Theater photoshoot – just a bit over “deadline” that we, photographers give ourselves to deliver our final pictures to models and mua. Almost everyone of our gang has “real job”, so sometimes 3 weeks ain’t enough
but finally, after long hours after working hours I can deliver final picturesThe location was just awesome, we could have shot there for days, models and MUA were amazing and we had bunch of lighting equipment with us.
The location was pretty dark – I didn’t have to use ETTL, so most of the times I was using my AB800 with 22″ Beauty Dish as main light, and sometimes 580 ex II + tri grip for kicker… I was shooting with my 85 f/1.2 II, very often below f/2, to get crazy bokeh.
ooh I almost forgot about my favorite setup – 580 ex II + Lastolite Softbox for pictures below. That time I still had my 16-35 f/2.8 II, and 2 pictures below are super wide angle:
for this one I used 580 ex II + Lastolite Softbox subject right high and another small softbox for hairlight behind the subject left.
here 16-35 again, with hand-holded 580 ex II + trigrip as a main light. It was hot up there and I wasn’t in the mood of dragging big lights from main stage…
AB800 + 22″ Beauty Dish for pictures below.
Softbox + SB800:
Thank you all for making that photoshoot possible and special thanks to our models and MUA – it was great working with you all!
