Second post of my trip to Big Apple… This time mostly tilted pictures – the more I use Carl Zeiss lenses with tilt adapter, the more I like them![]()
I’ve been to Empire State Building many times before, but that time I didn’t have my tilt equipment, so I decided it would be fun to go once again. I guess the thing with New york is that you cannot get enough of that great city. When I lived in New Jersey for over 2 years, very often I went to “the City”, almost every weekend, specially in the beginning, so you would think that there is nothing to be excited about… naah – you’d be wrong – New York City is in my opinion the best city, and I get goose bumps when I think about going there
Alright, enough of talking, here are the pictures from Empire State Building:
We stayed in the World Center Hotel, right next to World Trade Center in the financial district. We had great view from our 14(if I remember well) floor room, and on the roof deck there was a restaurant – so one fine day in the morning after the breakfast we grabbed our cameras and took some pictures:
Place where Twin Towers used to be, is now one big construction zone, with workers working 24/7… what a emotional experience looking at it and realizing that few years back, here used to be something totally different
my buddy Pete shooting with Carl Zeiss 80mm + tilt adapter:
So that’s it, New York… Not sure if that is New York thingy or not – but I had good ratio of selects vs total – 45 out of 379 photos. Pretty good I think, but that’s more like street photography – so maybe that explains it
I’ve one or maybe two post coming from my trip to New York, need to show you great model Anna, and maybe some night pictures from Dumbo and more street photography, so stay put!
